This Refund Policy applies to all memberships, plans, and services offered by The Best Study Library, a private self-study facility operating in Bathinda.
By making any payment and enrolling for membership, the member acknowledges, understands, and agrees to the following refund terms without exception.
1. General Refund Rule (NO REFUNDS)
All payments made to The Best Study Library are strictly non-refundable.
Once a membership is purchased and access is activated, no refund, partial refund, credit, adjustment, or carry-forward shall be provided under any circumstances whatsoever.
This policy applies to:
- Hourly plans
- Monthly plans
- Quarterly or long-term plans
- Reserved and non-reserved seating plans
- Any promotional or discounted plans
2. Situations Where Refunds Are NOT Allowed
Refunds shall not be granted for reasons including, but not limited to:
- Non-attendance or irregular attendance
- Early discontinuation of membership
- Unused hours or remaining days
- Change of personal schedule or routine
- Examination postponement or cancellation
- Dissatisfaction with seating position, ambience, silence level, lighting, temperature, or crowd
- Health issues, illness, injury, or medical advice
- Family, personal, travel, relocation, or work-related reasons
- Academic results, performance, or outcomes
- Any inconvenience faced after membership activation
Once payment is made, the member’s obligation is complete and final.
3. Seat Availability & Peak Hours
- Short-duration or non-reserved plans do notguarantee seat availability during peak hours.
- Temporary seat non-availability does notentitle the member to any refund or compensation.
- Temporary reassignment of seating, if provided, is a facility adjustment and not a contractual right.
4. Membership Cancellation & Refunds
- If a member voluntarily cancels their membership, no refund shall be issued.
- If management terminates a membership due to:
- Violation of rules
- Misconduct or indiscipline
- Property damage
- Misuse of facilities or access
No refund or credit shall be issued.
Termination for breach does not create any refund entitlement.
5. Force Majeure (No Refund Clause)
No refund shall be provided in cases of service disruption due to:
- Natural disasters
- Fire, flood, or accidents
- Government orders or restrictions
- Power failures or technical issues
- Epidemics, pandemics, or public emergencies
Such events are beyond the control of the management and do not create any refund obligation.
6. Payment Errors
- Payments once successfully processed are final and irreversible.
- Members are advised to verify:
- Plan type
- Duration
- Seating category
before making payment.
Errors arising from incorrect selection by the member do not qualify for refunds or changes.
7. Security Deposit (If Applicable)
- Security deposits, where applicable, are not feesand are governed separately.
- Deposits must be claimed within 12 monthsof membership cessation.
- Unclaimed deposits after 12 months shall stand forfeited.
- No interest is payable on security deposits.
8. No Verbal Assurance Clause
- No verbal statement, promise, or assurance by staff shall override this Refund Policy.
- Only the written policy published on the website and printed membership form is valid and enforceable.
9. Acknowledgement & Consent
By enrolling, making payment, and signing the physical membership form:
- The member confirms full understanding of this Refund Policy
- The member accepts that no refund shall be claimed under any circumstances
- The member agrees to the legal enforceability of this policy in case of dispute
FINAL DECLARATION
Once membership is activated, the seat and time slot are locked.
Refunds, replacements, pauses, extensions, or adjustments are not part of our service model.
Members are advised to proceed with payment only if they fully accept this policy without reservation.
