1. Nature of Service
1.1 The Best Study Library is a private self-study facility only.
- Books or reading materials
- Tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or academic guidance
- Internet browsing support beyond basic connectivity
1.3 The service strictly consists of providing access to a study seat and controlled study environment.
2. Membership & Access
2.1 Membership is valid only for the duration and hours selected at the time of enrolment.
2.2 Access is permitted strictly through Face Recognition / Biometric Entry.
2.3 Entry credentials are non-transferable and strictly personal.

- Bypass security systems
shall be treated as a serious breach of contract.
3. Seating Policy
3.1 Fixed seating is provided only under plans that explicitly include reserved seating.
3.2 Short-duration plans (e.g., 3-hour or 5-hour plans):
- Do notguarantee seat availability during peak hours
- Are allotted strictly on a first-come-first-sit basis
3.3 Temporary seat reassignment, if any, does not create ownership, priority, or future rights.
4. Fees, Payments & Refunds (STRICT)
4.1 All fees are non-refundable, without exception.
4.2 No refund shall be issued for:
- Non-attendance
- Early exit
- Unused hours
- Dissatisfaction with ambience, seating, silence level, or crowd
- Health, exam, personal, family, travel, or relocation reasons
- Force majeure events
4.3 Once payment is made and membership is activated:
- No refund
- No pause
- No adjustment
- No carry-forward
5. Transfer, Pause & Adjustment
- Non-transferable
- Non-pausable
- Non-adjustable
5.2 In rare and exceptional circumstances, management may allow transfer:
- Subject to discretionary approval
- Subject to a transfer fee (₹300–₹500 or as notified)
- Such approval shall not set a precedent
6. Security Deposit (If Applicable)
6.1 Security deposits must be claimed within 12 months of membership cessation.
6.2 Unclaimed deposits after 12 months stand automatically forfeited.
6.3 Deposit records are maintained for one year only.
7. Conduct, Discipline & Behaviour
7.1 Members must maintain:
- Absolute silence
- Discipline
- Respect for other members and staff
7.2 Prohibited activities include (but are not limited to):
- Loud talking, phone calls, video calls
- Sleeping at desks
- Playing music or videos
- Littering or unhygienic behaviour
- Seat encroachment
- Misuse of Wi-Fi
- Bringing outsiders into restricted areas
7.3 Disciplinary action may include:
- Verbal warning
- Written notice
- Immediate cancellation of membership without refund
8. Damage to Property & Assets
8.1 Any damage to library property, including:
- Furniture
- Electrical fittings
- Lighting
- CCTV cameras
- Entry systems
- Water dispensers
- Washroom fittings
- Walls, flooring, or infrastructure
- Immediate termination of membership
- Recovery of full repair/replacement cost
- Additional penalty up to ₹5,000
- Initiation of civil and/or criminal proceedings if required
9. Theft, Identity Misuse & Fraud
- Identity impersonation
- Sharing biometric/face-recognition access
- Using another member’s credentials
- Misrepresentation at enrolment
9.2 Such acts may result in:
- Immediate cancellation
- Permanent blacklisting
- Legal proceedings under applicable laws
10. Surveillance & Privacy
10.1 The premises are under 24×7 CCTV surveillance in all common areas.
10.2 Surveillance footage may be:
- Used for security
- Shared with law enforcement if required
- Used as evidence in disputes
10.3 Members waive any objection to surveillance within common areas.
11. Wi-Fi Usage
11.1 Wi-Fi is provided strictly for academic and light browsing purposes.
11.2 Prohibited usage includes:
- Illegal downloads
- Streaming
- Gaming
- Accessing unlawful or offensive content
11.3 Misuse may result in:
- Suspension of Wi-Fi access
- Disciplinary action
- Membership cancellation
12. Limitation of Liability
12.1 The Best Study Library shall not be responsible for:
- Loss of personal belongings
- Theft of items
- Health issues arising from prolonged sitting or study
- Academic outcomes or performance
12.2 Members are responsible for their own belongings and well-being.
13. Force Majeure
13.1 The library shall not be liable for interruption of services due to:
- Natural disasters
- Government orders
- Power failures
- Epidemics/pandemics
- Fire, floods, or unavoidable events
No refund or compensation shall be applicable in such cases.
14. Right to Modify Rules
14.1 Management reserves the right to:
- Modify rules
- Update policies
- Change operational guidelines
Such changes shall be binding upon publication or notification.
15. Termination of Membership
15.1 Management reserves absolute discretion to terminate membership without refund if:
- Rules are violated
- Conduct is disruptive
- Property is damaged
- Membership is misused
16. Consent & Legal Enforceability
16.1 By signing the physical membership form and using the facility:
- The member confirms full understanding of all terms
- No verbal assurance overrides written policy
- These terms are legally enforceable
17. Jurisdiction
17.1 Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of courts at Bathinda, Punjab.
FINAL DECLARATION
Once membership is activated:
- Seat and hours are locked
- Refunds, pauses, replacements, or adjustments are not permitted
Members are advised to proceed only if they accept all terms unconditionally.
